Hey first and for most i would like to thank everyone on this forum for answering my first thread on this forum. I am usually looking through this forum and the modmyiphone forum and I found that I can find out what I need on this forum more than the other ones. So I wanted to ask you guys for a little more additional help, I tried to follow the new windows 1.1.1 tutorial for unlock but when I got to the step to upgrade to 1.1.1 I forgo to input the commands before updating so what happen was it messed up and than I tried to down grading it but afterwards it just stayed at the yellow triangle saying Please Connect to iTunes. I called a shop that said they knew how to unlock the iphone and they were the ones who told me that my iPhone was bricked and that they could fix it. I tried everything I could so I was wondering if anyone could help me because I tried everything I could think of and it all failed, now it just stays at the yellow triangle screen and you cant do anything not even restore. Not mater what firmware you restore it to it just wont work. I hope someone can help me because the store is the next city over and its going to cost money to fix it. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

"The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1604)
For the 1.0.2 restore"
"The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2003)
For the 1.1.1 restore"
If anyone has aim, msn, or ventrilo that'd be great it'll be easier to talk. Im not sure how to use mIRC though so if someone could guide me through that.

Tried updating my phone to 1.1.2. from unlocked 1.1.1 and got error 1604 (sometimes error 6). I think i messed up one of the steps. Can't get out of recovery mode. iNdependence won't work, just tells me the phone is in recovery mode. Tried restoring to 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 and nothing works, seem to be stuck in recovery mode. When I try 1.0.2. 0r 1.1.1 it doesn't get past the 'Preparing iPhone for install' screen, then error 1604. Trying to restore to 1.1.2 it sometimes gets halfway through the 'Restoring iPhone Software' screen and then crashes with an error 6.
Help please!!!!

you can try www.hacktheiphone.com the guy provides a restore service (for a fee) for repairing broken iPhone (software only). I have never used his service but if you're lost, it's somewhere to turn to....
You can always just send me your phone :-) I'll give you $50 for it (yes joking)
Of course you can always do another restore, go back to 1.0.2 via iBrickr and then upgrade again.

Oh dear me...I hope you guys have some luck restoring your phones. No problems for me...picked up the iphone in the US & unlocked in Australia following the guides in hacktheiphone, now using my Telstra SIM. Im a bit cautions in upgrading to 1.1.2 though.
