I use Bluehost (http://www.bluehost.com/track/eztempla/) for my personal hosting. I have tried a few host, and they have been the best for me. They have GREAT support and always seem to fix a problem within minutes of notification (if their even is a problem).

Godaddy is good if you have a small site. It likely won't survive a digg, but it's nice for little places.

Try this site: www.first-web-design.com
I like their services, they worked 24x7 and they are best in flash animations

I use ixwebhosting at www.ixwebhosting.com I have used them for years and they are excellent. I recently checked out bluehost to compare as I was setting up a new independent site and found that although their support was great they were in the end a little more expensive than IX.
However either of these are good so have a look and make up your own mind.

I also have used IX for about 3 years. I have been very satisfied and the price has stayed the same since hosting with them.

Never heard of IX before. I'll have to keep them in mind next time I set up a site...

Almost all host support php and mysql and flash is installed on most computers. I've looked at a ton of host and so far the one that looks like it is the best deal is http://bluehost.com. Hope this helps.

It depends on what you need and if you like to paid monthly feeds or join a free hosting group. You maybe also like to take a look at free-webhosts.com (http://www.free-webhosts.com/)/ to compare free webhosts. If you are looking for paid hosting I suggest hostgator.com (http://www.hostgator.com/) or psychz.net (http://www.psychz.net/).

I personaly have 3 sites with godaddy which is pretty cheap. I also have a personal server that I use @home using xampp which supports php mysqul cgi and the best thing is that it's all pre configured in the install package. I highly recomend both godaddy is only like 8bucks a month and have DNS which is important if you have a dynamic ip
