New Contract with AT&T

I will be getting an contract with AT&T and i want to use my unlocked 1.02iphone with it. Can i just simply get a contract with unlimited data plan with generic phone and just switch its SIM and put it on my Iphone

I was wondering the same thing, kind of. I already have an iphone acct, but i want to switch to a generic plan with data and some other phone on the plan so i can get my discount back. not sure if at&t will be able to tell if i'm using the iphone still.
