Hi all,

Best looking iPhone forum of all :D -I hate so much MMI, and Hackint0sh just started being so lame, go figure...

Anyway, I have an iPhone 1.0.2 unlocked with iUnlock, 3rd party apps running. I activated it legitimately w/ ATT (GoPhone). I also happen to have a license for IPSF.

I would love, if someone could walk me thru the steps of going from iUnlock 1.0.2 -> IPSF 1.1.1 ... I know roughly what to do, but don't know how exactly.

Here is how I intend to proceed, please advice.

Tools:

Mac
iTunes 7.4.2
iNdependence 1.2.3

Steps:

Relock 1.0.2 (Which tools to use, and how ?)
Restore it w/ iTunes to 1.0.2
Activate phone, install and run SimFree.app v1.6
Run Pre 1.1.1 Upgrade function in iNdependence
Upgrade w/ iTunes to 1.1.1
Run Post 1.1.1 Upgrade function in iNdependence (Don't know why I should run this!)
Activate w/ iTunes
How to get Installer.app in iPhone ?
???

I feel like there has to be a relatively simple answer. I thought that IPSF could deal with iUnlocked (even bricked iUnlocked phones that were upgraded to 1.1.1).

Does anyone have any insight into the best way to proceed?

Sincere Regards!

You can use the latest release of a virginizing tool (http://code.google.com/p/iphone-elite/wiki/RevirginizingTool), from one of the development teams. Or, alternatively, you can use a different virginizing method (http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12052&highlight=server), which I used to 100% satisfaction and success this weekend.

Hope this helps.
