Hello! I am using this (http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/Jailbreak_1.1.1) tutorial to jailbreak my iPhone, then upgrade it, then activate it. I know how to do everything in this tutorial, except the iPHUC-Jailbreak.exe part. When I run iPHUC-Jailbreak.exe, I get a "Couldn't find QTMLClient.dll" error. Then, I decided to look around my system. I found a QTMLClient.dll file somewhere in my WINDOWS folder, and placed a copy in the iPHUC-Jailbreak.exe folder. I re-ran iPHUC-Jailbreak.exe, and I got a different error:

The procedure entry point CFCopyDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library QTMLClient.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I read this other tutorial of the same thing, and it said that if you are running Windows, you need the extra files in the iPHUC distribution kit for it to run. I couldn't find anything, so I'm stuck here. Help would be great!

Cody

I had the same issue on my XP desktop. I plugged the phone into my Vista laptop and the error didn't happen on there. Try a different PC. It doesn't have to be the one with iTunes or even one you want to sync with.
