3G still at 2.2.1

Hi all first post, I really can't find an answer to my question.

I have a 3G 16G Jailbroke still on 2.2.1. I used Pwnage tool to do this. I've had zero problems with it. But I figure I need to get with the times!:D

Question is, can I use P tool and go straight to the latest iphone update 3.1.2, or do I have to start at 3.0 and work up?

You can go straight to 3.1.2..Remember if you do that your gonna have to re-jailbreak it.

Right, I had figured on a re break. 3.1.2 will give me all the features back to 3.0 right?
