Tweetie 2.0 has been completely re-written and comes with many new features including full landscape mode, video support, drafts, TextExpander support, and more.

Other features include Address Book contact linking, advanced filtering, saved searches, URL shortening, and integration with other apps and services, including Birdhouse, Favstar.fm, Tweet Blocker, Follow Cost, Instapaper, and Twitlonger.

Another anticipated feature in Tweetie 2.0 will be an offline mode, allowing the user to read cached entries without an internet connection, as well as save drafts and use the integration with services like Instapaper, queued to be synced once the user is back online.

Loren hopes to submit Tweetie 2.0 to the App Store sometime this week. It will be compatible with iPhone OS 3.0+ and will be available for $2.99 as a new application, not an update.

im so sick of hearing about twitter and facebook..... they both suck. they are both useless.

for one, why does anyone need it. they dont.

lets take iphone alley....they have a nice site, works good, when i want news i go to this site...why would i want to to go twitter and then facebook when i can go directly to the source. second it take the admin here three times a long to update all the pages.

FUCKING RETARTED is what it is.. especially when companies like best buy get a facebook page... oh i want to smack the sh1t out of that company.

The number one reason facebook sucks in my opinion is because you can only LIKE something. I want to be a disliker of best buys site, and tell people how shitty they treat customers. Facebook is one sided and sucks just for that one reason.
