View Full Version : Frustrated with iTunes 9

Ok just a general rant and it mostly stems from me not having the energy to deal with it and wanting it to just work.

I share my library across my home network. So the library sits on my 3TB home server (yes I have one) and all my laptops and PCs link to it. It worked fine....until now. For some silly reason each time I open iTunes 9 it keeps asking me which library would I like to use AND then it acts as if the one I choose doesn't exist forcing me to add the entire collection again.

urgh!

So tired of dealing with new software.

Ok...need to find my wine now.

Just not my day in technology that's for sure.

Woke up this morning to find I had to RELOAD EVERYTHING. It wiped my iPhone (claiming it was a new library) and I had to re-import over 300 gigs of music, 200 apps....movies, and tv shows.

Top it off I leave for a 4 day road trip in 2 hours.

I should have waited to update to iTunes 9.

Ya know I love Apple and my Macs and my iPhone. I am also an Apple faithful because I do not like to WORK on my computer like PeeCee people. I find as you have discovered that you do not update if I do not have time to do it a couple of times. I am still working thru Snow Leopard issues. I have not jumped on the iTunes bandwagon for that reason.

Yeah, the new Itunes cause me some troubles too. In the end it always comes down to sitting there for two hours and making sure everything works as intended. :)

Yes. Very weird. I dont understand what happened. It was fine five minutes before I installed the new podpress and add to any. I always check my iTunes feed I just delete the feed in Itunes, then subscribe again.

The feeds are fine, but whats with iTunes?
