Bluetooth and or Edge on / off switch

I just managed to pair the Iphone with my car kit and all works well.

But, switching Bluetooth on and off takes several steps and I wonder is someone is able to make an application on the Iphone's desktop that enables a fast on/off switching of the Iphone's bluetooth function.

Same goes for EDGE. Here is the Netherlands where we can use the Iphone only by the grace of the hacking community data consumption can be quite large as the Iphone automatically uses to Edge when collecting email. Switching off Edge by a one touch button would be great

As it happens, Firmware update 1.1.1 provides just that. All you have to do is give up your third party apps and relock your phone.

I would not have unlocked the Iphone if it were available from Apple here in the Netherlands but it seems we have to wait until next year which is difficult for a mac addict.

Apple should have kept the price for Simlock free phones ate 599 usd making it possible for customers to have the choice to stay with their current provider.

I guess I have to live with the small disadvantages that the unlocked (but really great) IPhone has sofar and wait until next year. Hopefully I can use my USA Iphone with the Apple provider's Dutch simcard by that time.

Or maybe the unlock community finds a way around the new Iphone update.

If you are using apptap/installer.app theres a new app thats called services. with it you can turn on and off wifi ssh bluetooth and you guessed it edge! but when you turn off edge the phone will take anywhere from 30 sec to 1 min to reconnect to your servace.

do I have to deactivate edge each time I turn restart my iphone or only once?
