Apple has released iTunes 8.2, which adds support for the yet unreleased iPhone OS 3.0 expected to take the spotlight at WWDC. Apple also lists it as including several accessibility improvements and bug fixes. You can download the new version by checking for updates in iTunes or re-downloading at Apple.com.

I've heard that this update disables some jailbreaking aspects. It allows iTunes to not recognize PwnageTool or Quickpwn. Caution, my friends.

I haven't played with jailbreaking in a while, but I know iTunes 8.2b2 and up disabled the tethering hack.

I'll post iTunes 8.2b1 in a bit for people who are interested ;)

Here's a download link to iTunes 8.2b1 which will work with the tethering hack and iPhone 3.0b5.

I have no idea where this came from.
