Worried about walking into that lamppost again while typing out an email? Then you'll be happy to hear that Phase2 Media, the folks behind the fake SMS app that promised to let you see where you're going while typing an SMS, has just released Email 'n Walk [Free], a very real app that shows you what you're about to walk into while you're typing. Screenshot after the break.

The app is currently available as a free download for a limited time, so get it while it's fresh. We haven't tested it out yet (I'm downloading as I write this), but it has a very cool concept, and it looks downright pretty at that.

Not for people like me, though.

I can't focus on two different things at once. If I was paying attention to the background, I couldn't type. If I was paying attention to typing, I'd run into something. lol

Yes... if that's the case... in your case is better to stop. grab a coffee at some overpriced chain of burnt and horrible coffee and type your message seating on a couch! LOL!!! MY problem is the other way around I will run into everybody for TYPING WHILE WALKING... Maybe is time to visit that OVER PRICED chain of coffee houses and stop typing and walking for me to!!! LOL

This app would also be good for driving.

OH COME ONE! can you imagine! the people with their iphone on the top of the wheel typing and driving!? I only know this: I already have to put up with the taxi drivers in NEW YORK talking laud on their phones while driving 10000000 miles per hours through the city. THE MOMENT I SEE ONE TAKING THE EFFING IPHONE AND TYPE AND DRIVE (which it have happened to me with 2 taxi drivers in Argentina typing while driving in a country were people do not know the meaning or the usage of the word LANES) I WILL SLAP THE BACK OF THAT MOTHEREFFING NECK!

But I don't like coffee. :p

I find myself stopping somewhere to text someone without even realizing it. Occasionally I'll stop in the middle of the parking lot to text someone when I get off of work. I think it's hilarious because I don't even realize I'm doing it until I'm finished. XD

LMFAO!

I was totally kidding but I couldn't figure out a way to make it seem that way. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up causing MORE cases of people walking into stuff, cause they think they're covered by this "useful" app.
