I am trying to get the iphone unlocked and have installed anySIM using ifuntastic. I get the disclaimer page and scroll down to the slide to unlock. When I slide it the phone hangs and nothing happens. Have tried to reset it several times with no results
Thanks for any advice and help!

I tried a full restore, reinstall of ifuntastic and them anySIM. No luck. It still freezes and needs a forced quite. Anyone else with any ideas?

I don't know if this is what fixed it, but I installed BSD framework components via the "Installer" program iFuntastic installs and the anySIM application finally displayed its progress bar...of course it failed to unlock the SIM but at least I saw progress

Joe,
Thanks for the i[. I tied it and also got the progress bar! The net net is that I got a message stating that flash succeeded but the unlock failed and suggested to manually check the baseband using something called minicom. :o

If after you get anySIM working and it gives an error, try restoring

I have a program that makes the iphone do everything automatically I turned mine into a tmobile in 5 minutes, It also allows you to get all the latest crack and hack programs that come out daily!

Yes. You need to virginize (http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/Software_Unlock#Unlock_failure.2C_couldn.27t_find_ bytes_to_pach) your phone.

Hey Plisto.
I just bought an iPhone. It was 1.1.1. I was unlocking it, everything was fine, and at the very end it hung during the run of anySIM on the "starting CommCenter" part. It stayed there for a good 15 minutes. Finally, I thought "well, I've got problems now" and I just pushed the home button to see if it'd do anything. It went back home (so it wasn't frozen). And, having put in my Rogers (Canada) sim card earlier, it said "Rogers" in the top left. Great. Then I tried calling someone. as I dialed, the numbers weren't making any sound, (and that's something I read happens after the hanging on "starting CommCenter). But, it called nonetheless. It worked. I hung up the call. I tried calling someone a second time, and the sound had come back! Anyway, the point is, even though my phone seemed to hang on the "starting CommCenter," it seems like the whole process works fine... just push the home button if it's taking too long. Maybe yours was really frozen at that part, though. If so, sorry about that, and good luck.
