Editing Portal Sound Pack

I downloaded a Portal sound pack not to long ago. I love the lock, unlock and sync sounds but the text, mail and other sounds are crappy imo.

I tried downloading new sounds and placing them above the Portal one in Winterboard but that doesn't seem to work, I still hear the Portal stuff.
Is there a way to delete the Portal sounds I don't want if I SSH?

If you use ssh go to private var stash themes. Look for the theme in it go to uisounds. Than you can delete or rearrange them to your preference. I do it a lot with themes but I use disk aid much easier as no wifi needed or login crap. It's free As well. Google it
