So I just jailbroke my iPhone recently, and today I've been messing around trying to get SSH to work. It seemed to be working fine, I have a PC and am using Winscp, but when i tried to change my sms ringtones, the changes didn't show up in my phone. Actually, I deleted my old ringtone and tried to put in a new one, but now the old ringtone (Bell) is deleted and my new one isn't in it's place! There's no sound when I press it now! I have no idea what went wrong, since it obviously deleted the old one, but it won't show the changes I make in putting in the new one. And yes, the Wifi was still connected and everything was still on...etc, etc. I even tried restarting my phone, but to no avail. Help!

It sounds like you may have deleted you old ringtone, and then renamed the old one with the wrong name, meaning that it isnt detected by the iPhone. If you replaced the Bell sms ringtone, then your new ringtone must be named, "sms-received5.caf"
Another possible error is that even though you named your new sms ringtone with a .caf extension, was it actually converted to that format? Or did you just change the extension from say .m4r to .caf? Or something similar?
