OnLive Streams PC Games To iPhone
OnLive has successfully gotten high-end PC games running on the iPhone using cloud computing. The games are actually run on a PC server, with graphics being transmitted to the video. The company demonstrated games being "played" on two iPhones, a TV, and a PC at the same time.
While he has no official launch date for the service, OnLive CEO Steve Pearlman, who gave the demo at the Wedbush financial conference in New York, says that once they talk to handset manufacturers, they do plan to launch it.
"It's amazingly cool - whipping out your phone, checking out what your OnLive friends are up to, and then spectating their live game play: Unscripted live user-generated content, available anywhere," Perlman wrote on his blog
