Facebook App To Get Push Notifications "Soon"

According to developer Joe Hewitt, the next major version of the Facebook app for the iPhone and iPod touch, v3.1, will add push notifications. Currently, the official Facebook app allows users to do things like check and update news feeds, manage their media and other content.
It's unknown exactly when the new update will launch, but v3.0.3 will come first, and it should launch in the near future.

I want to watch videos in the Facebook app. I hope that's in 3.1.
