Ballmer Nabs iPhone From Employee, Pretends to Stomp Device

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer apparently had issues with a Microsoft employee in Seattle this week after the employee was caught snapping a picture with an iPhone. Ballmer then grabbed the iPhone, joked about it and held it aloft as the crowd booed. He then pretended to stomp on it and walked away, with everything being shown on the big screen behind him.

Ballmer also jokingly teased the poor employee during his speech afterward, which is either the height of comedy or in pretty poor taste depending on your perspective.

How special...

I think the word TOOL comes to mind.

Well it shouldn't be too hard to make a phone with a lot of problems, sell it for less, advertise too much and lose money. Easy solution to the iPhone...

This is hilarious.

Where's the video to prove the story is true? I realize some of us see Balmer as a tool with his monkey boy antics but I'd believe this story with actual video or clear photos. I can't believe it with the only example being a blurred image that looks like the camera was spinning through the air.

I wish I had a cool boss like this!

serious?

I would think that this would show how shallow microsoft and ballmer really are. they are so closed minded no wonder their stuff sucks.

Maybe the incident was captured with an iPod Nano camera, but this other Microsoft employee, owner of the Nano, is fearful to let it surface.

Ouch!

I have a sharp pain in my Ballmer, showing how much I care for this whole issue.

"Pain in my Balmer", ha ha, that's funny!
