Zibri Finds iPhone Video Bug

Zibri is back once again, and he brings news of a new bug. He first wrote about it back in September, but didn't offer any details. Zibri Still Working On ZiPhone, Accuses Jailbreakers Of App Piracy

We haven't heard much from Zibri for quite a long time, but he's finally crawled out of his cave and let the world know what he's up to. He updated his blog today to give an update on a version of ZiPhone that he says isn't quite ready yet. He also accuses the jailbreaking community for having shifted their focus from allowing unauthorized apps to primarily getting apps from the App Store for free.

Dev Team Releases QuickPwn, A New Windows-Only Simplified Jailbreak App [Update: GUI Released]

The Dev Team has just released a new tool for all you Windows users out there. It's called QuickPwn, and it lets you jailbreak your iPhone more quickly and easily than the PwnageTool on the Mac or WInPwn. QuickPwn uses a new jailbreaking technique that they say "has been available to the iPhone research and hacking community for about 5 days now (if you looked hard enough)".

Zibri Says No ZiPhone For 2.0 Software

Most of you probably know Zibri as the dev who created ZiPhone, but if you've been following what's going on behind the scenes you would know that Zibri and the Dev Team haven't been getting along well. However, while the Dev Team is releasing the Pwnage Tool and WinPwn for the iPhone 2.0 software, Zibri has opted to sit this round out. He made an announcement on his blog saying that he would not be creating a version of ZiPhone for the 2.0 software, and explained why.
