WinPwn 2.5 On The Way, To Include New Features

CMW has announced that a new version of WinPwn, v2.5, is entering it's final stages and will be released later this week. The update will contain some new features, including QuickPwn support for 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2, a DFU helper, and an automatic updater, among other things. He also included a few screenshots which you can see after the break.

WinPwn 2.0.0.4 Released

Those of you waiting for the Windows version of the latest PwnageTool are in luck. WinPwn 2.0.0.4 was just released. The new software offers support for iPod touches, iPhones, and iPhone 3Gs running 1.1.4, 2.0, 2.0.1. It also adds support for Root partition resizing, as well as Installer and support for WinXP and Vista in both 32/64bit. They note that a full uninstall of the previous version is required before installing this one.

WinPwn 2.0 Released For Windows Users!

Ladies and Gents, WinPwn 2.0, the jailbreak/pwning software for Windows users running the iPhone 2.0 software, has been released. Those of you looking to jailbreak your iPhone 3G, iPod touch or iPhone running the latest firmware version can now do so. The team posted the download and the instructions on their website.

Someone Creates xWinPwn, WinPwn On The Way

Windows users waiting for a true jailbreak solution for the 2.0 firmware may soon have their way. The iPhone dev team released their development resources for xPwn, a firmware 2.0 ready libraries and command-line utility. Since then, someone has compiled them to create a sort of "pwnage" tool for Windows users, dubbed xWinPwn. Meanwhile, for those not ready to try something so risky, the creators of the real WinPwn say that they'll have their new version out soon.
