A new web site has surfaced that allows users you watch live television via a QuickTime player in Safari. Per Macworld UK, tvcatchup.com allows both iPhone and desktop conputer users to currently watch 11 channels - BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, Channel 4, Five, BBC Three, Film4, E4, More4, and 4Music.

9to5 Mac Reports that AT&T may be implementing a shiny new cutting-edge industry standard technology in the seamless Wi-Fi hotspot handoffs announced yesterday. The official statement said those with an iPhone 3G running OS 3.0 with a qualifying data plan would now have a "seamless transition from their 3G network to any one of their 20,000 Wifi wireless hotspots" whenever one was within range.
