Twittelator

Today Twitter announced that it has enabled geotagging support for third-party Twitter clients, just two weeks after they began rolling out the new retweet feature. Following the announcement from Twitter, Stone Design announced that Twittelator Pro [App Store, $4.99] is the first Twitter client for iPhone to fully support both features. We've also heard from a little birdy that beta versions of Tweetie 2 [App Store, $2.99] already support both features. We're not sure when that update will drop, but we're guessing that it'll be soon.

A TV reporter by the name of Jeremy Jojola in Albuquerque, New Mexico recently attempted to use a jailbroken iPhone running the full version of the Qik live streaming app to broadcast a news story on-site for KOB-TV. The audio and video quality obviously aren't as great as you would get with the standard TV gear, but it got the job done and demonstrates the usefulness of being able to live stream on your iPhone. We've been waiting for copy and paste on the iPhone for a long, long time, but despite our pleas, Apple still says that it's not at the top of their list of priorities. In the meantime, a very creative college student by the name of Zak White has created his own alternative that looks to be the first viable copy/paste solution between multiple apps that doesn't interfere with Apple's SDK.
