You metal fans out there will be happy to know that Tapulous has just released Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica [App Store, $4.99], a variation of their popular Dance Dance Revolution spin-off, Tap Tap Revenge. The game features 10 songs from the band and a new heavy metal look.

Tapulous announced yesterday the highly anticipated release of Tap Tap Revenge 3. The new TTR features a redesigned look and more advanced online gameplay, with the ability to send private messages, browse user profiles, and chat with opponents. Tap Tap Revenge 3 is available for $0.99 in the App Store, a significant change over the free releases that Tapulous has delivered in the past.

Tapulous released Tap Tap Revenge: Coldplay Edition the next app in their series of band-themed games. The new game features ten songs from the band, including hits like “Yellow,” “Clocks,” and “Lost,” as well as remixes of "Lovers in Japan" and "Viva la Vida". It also has updated graphics and effects inspired by the band's music videos, four difficulty levels with unlockable boss tracks, multiplayer mode and Facebook Connect for score tracking among friends. To celebrate the launch, Tapulous is holding a competition for the next thirty days.

The long anticipated Tap Tap Revenge 2 was released today and it's positively crammed with exciting new stuff. A few weeks ago iPhone Alley got a sneak peek from an unnamed beta tester and we were completely blown away. From the graphics to the music to the incredibly improved gameplay, TTR 2 has outdone the original in every possible way.

The long-anticipated Tap Tap Revenge 2 seems to be nearing completion and, according to a teaser video posted today on Tapulous' blog, now features more fun, more music, and more cowbell. Aside from the "features" mentioned in this video, we know from our interview with Tapulous that TTR 2 will boast a completely rewritten engine The result will be greater overall flexibility and stability.

Tapulous today released a special Nine Inch Nails edition of their popular game, Tap Tap Revenge. The game contains 13 tracks from Nine Inch Nails' two latest albums and features a Nine Inch Nails themed skin. Also included is a multiplayer mode and enhanced gameplay.

Additionally, Tapulous has announced a special contest to go along with the game's release.

In a disappointing turn of events, Mike Lee, founder and former CEO of the prominent iPhone app developing company Tapulous, the folks responsible for the popular apps Tap Tap Revenge, Twinkle, and Friendbook, announced on his blog that he has been asked to resign from the company he helped to create. The news leaves us wondering how and why, and what it means for the future.
