Remote Updated, Adds Genius and Playlist Editing Support

Today Apple released an update to their fabulous Remote application for iPod touch and iPhone. The update adds the ability to remotely create Genius playlists on any Mac or PC running iTunes 8 or later. Additionally, the update also adds the ability to edit and create regular playlists as well. Users with remote speakers will also note that the interface for managing speakers has been moved to the "Now Playing" screen after tapping on the album artwork. The new features haven't been carried over to the Apple TV (yet).

The update can be gotten from the "Updates" tab in the App Store or by going through iTunes. Remote is a free application.
