Boost 3D [App Store, $1.99] is a cool new tunnel racing game that puts you zooming down a tunnel, dodging colorful cubic obstacles attached to the walls. Every so often is a boost pad that speeds you up and even let you crash through an obstacle unharmed if you build up enough momentum. You can check out a video after the break.

Astraware has just released a cool new racing game called GTS World Racing. It's a classic arcade-style racing game that lets you chose your car, race your opponents and set lap times. As is true with most racing games, steering is controlled by the accelerometer, but so is acceleration and braking. The game includes 64 different track layouts set in 16 different scenic locations from around the world. Best of all, you can listen to the default soundtrack, or you can create your own using the music on your iPod.

Poalrbit Games has announced that they are porting Vivendi Games' Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, a fast-paced racing game set in the world of Crash Bandicoot, to the iPhone platform. Based on the demo video, it looks like it's running smoothly (and a lot of fun, too). As with other games we've seen for the iPhone, steering is done using the accelerometers. Video after the break.
