NetShare Unlikely To Return To App Store, App Approval Process Superficial?

It was a little discouraging (but not surprising) when Nullriver's NetShare tethering app was pulled from the App Store once, let alone twice, but their news that they were working with Apple to try to get it back in the App Store was encouraging. Unfortunately it looks like it's chances of making a return are pretty unlikely.

Nullriver Releases Official iPhone Tethering Application On App Store [Update: Removed]

In an unexpected twist of events, Nullriver has officially released NetShare, an Apple-approved iPhone tethering application, onto the App Store. The purpose of the application is to share an iPhone's Internet connection with other devices over Wi-Fi, essentially making the iPhone into an on-the-go Wi-Fi hotspot. A similar solution exists for hacked iPhones, although it requires jailbreking and Terminal knowledge to implement.
