Qik Live Video Streaming Demonstrated On A Non-Jailbroken iPhone

Digg co-founder and Apple rumor-monger Kevin Rose has recently released a video demonstrating Qik running on a "jailed" iPhone. The video shows some of the vast improvements Qik has made to their iPhone client over the past couple of weeks in terms of UI and core functionality. In addition to the application's improvements, Qik has also managed to get the beta version of their app out to testers without requiring them to jailbreak their iPhones.

Kevin Rose: iTunes 8 To Feature "Genius" Song Recommendation System, New Visualizer

Kevin Rose is at it again, this time with more details regarding the rumored release of iTunes 8. According to Rose's sources late last month, iTunes 8 will be "a true upgrade" implying that significant features will be added. He has since stated that one of the additions will be a new visualizer, which he describes as "...really trippy - there is one with planet like objects wrapping around each other w/stars/light streams". Today on his blog, Rose posts what looks like a summarized feature list from iTunes 8. The most significant is a new feature called "Genius" which is said to make playlists based on songs which go well together.

Digg co-founder and internet star Kevin Rose has a history of sharing rumors about the iPhone and other Apple devices, and now he's back with yet more alleged information about some product revisions and software releases from Apple. Kevin says that Apple will be refreshing their line of iPods in the not-too-distant future to include a redesigned Nano, cheaper iPod touch, iPod touch software 2.1, and the iTunes 8.0 update that will include new features, all in the next 2-3 weeks.

Kevin Rose Rumor: New iPhones Launch Next Week, New $200 iPhone

As some of you may know, Digg founder Kevin Rose has a history of spreading iPhone rumors, like when he said a couple of months ago that the next iPhone would have a front camera for video chatting, or when he "confirmed" back in March that Apple would release a 3G iPhone some time in June. Now he's back with more rumors, this time dealing with a slightly more specific launch time and a possible price variation.

More 3G Confirmation From Kevin Rose (Oy Vey)

Last Saturday Digg founder Kevin Rose spilled the beans on what he thinks the next iPhone will be. Earlier today, Kevin claimed to have received further confirmation that Apple will indeed be producing 3G iPhones in June. The additional confirmation comes from a separate source which Rose claims is a "high lvl [sic] VP at a big company that works w/Apple". No further mention of the previously mentioned "frontside camera" was made.

Rumor: Next iPhone To Be 3G, Have Front Video Chat Camera?

Here's an interesting little rumor: in the latest instillation of the hit podcast Diggnation, the podcast about the social news website Digg.com, founder Kevin Rose claimed to have heard rumors that the next revision of the iPhone would be 3G-capable and have a second camera on the front for video chatting.
