Analyst Sees Signs of Apple Moving Towards Multiple iPhone Carriers by 2010

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, who tends to hit the nail on the head per his Apple forecasts, has noted that Apple will probably move to multiple U.S. carriers by 2010. According to Loopinsight, Munster stated that the transition will occur next summer, which is when Apple has introduced new models of the iPhone.

Analyst: Don't Worry, Steve To Announce New iPhone After His Arrival

Now that people have realized that Steve Jobs wasn't going to make it back to Apple in time for WWDC to announce a new iPhone, analysts now believe the announcement will happen upon his return in late June. Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster now says he thinks Apple is planning a second event after WWDC to coincide with the return of Jobs, at which time a new iPhone and other big announcements will be revealed.

Apple Selling 95 iPhones Per Store Every Day

Piper Jaffray spent 25 hours observing sales at Apple stores around the US, and has concluded in a research note posted today that each store sells around 95 iPhone 3Gs every day. Based on this information, they estimate that sales of the device are set to increase forufold during their fiscal fourth quarter.
