iPhone 3G Dock Connector Bursts Into Flames

It's been a while since we've heard about a serious safety hazard posed by an iPhone malfunction, but another was recently reported. Tim Colbourne had the misfortune to have his iPhone burst into flames after leaving it plugged into his computer to charge. The exact cause of the malfunction is still unknown.
