An Estonian website recently published an interesting bug with the iPhone's Mobile Safari web browser that could potentially use excess data and potentially run a hefty bill if their reasonable use limit is breached. The problem is that when you browse to a website with a Motion JPEG for streaming video over the internet, it continues to stream the video after you close the app.

iPhone 3.1 Fixes Deleted Email Bug

You may remember that in iPhone 3.0 a bug was discovered which kept email messages on POP accounts from being properly deleted. A demo of the bug can be seen here. At the time it was believed that Apple was aware of the issue and that a fix would likely appear in the 3.1 update.

TUAW confirmed the strange bug when their own Mel Martin had the AT&T Navigator app and Reuters News icon switch places. One developer says issues like these were highly common in the beta releases, and weren't fixed until the final release of the software.
