Apple Releases Two New iPhone Ads, Gift and Song

Apple has released two new iPhone ads, each spotlighting six different applications available for download on the App Store. Gift gets its name from the free Target, which can be used for "picking the perfect gift," and Song from the Shazam app, which has seen a second appearance. Both ads now tout the fact that Apple now has over 100,000 applications available in the App Store.

New iPhone Ads: Dine, Nature, Pass

Apple released three new iPhone commercials today, showcasing the variety of iPhone applications you can get for your iPhone. Interestingly, the new ads showcase six different apps you can get, unlike the 3 stories done in the past.

New TV Ad: 'Avid', Featuring Golfshot GPS, MLB.com At Bat 2009, TouchSports Tennis '09

Apple has begun airing a new iPhone TV ad targeting sports fans. Titled 'Avid', the segment showcases three apps with the common theme of sports: Golfshot: Golf GPS [App Store | $29.99] with GPS range-finding and aerial views for more than 15,000 courses worldwide, MLB.com At Bat 2009 [App Store| $9.99] which has video and audio streams of some Major League Baseball games and other features, and TouchSports Tennis '09 [App Store], a 3D tennis game. New iPhone Ads: 'Share', 'Travel'

Apple has started the airing of two new iPhone TV ads. Like the ones before it, they focus on the applications available on the device, showcasing apps that fall into a theme. The first is 'Share' shows apps that let you share data with other users, including Mover, Bump, and Scrabble [$4.99]. 'Travel' showcases useful apps for traveling to Paris, including Rick Steves' Historic Paris Walk [$4.99], Paris Metro [$4.99] (an interactive map and rout planner for public transportation in Paris), and Postman, which lets you make digital postcards from photos on your Camera Roll or Google Maps, including custom text, themes, and ability to send via email, Facebook, Twitter and more.

New TV Ads Feature Voice Control, Copy And Paste On iPhone

Apple has begun airing two new TV ads for the iPhone 3GS. The first is titled Voice Control, and demonstrates the new Voice Control feature on the 3GS for both calling phone numbers and playing music. The second ad, called Copy and Paste, demonstrates the copy and paste functions now available with the OS 3.0 update. The ad demonstrates this new feature being used for phone numbers, formatted text and images and web pages, and maps between apps on the device.

Apple Says Only A Moron Would Take Apple's iPhone Ads Literally

Apple responded to claims recently responded to claims that their TV ads for the iPhone 3G are deceptive in nature. The lawsuit claims that Apple's touting of the iPhone 3G as "twice as fast for half the price" was incorrect and misleading. Apple starts off by saying that the statements made in their ads "were truthful and accurate and were not misleading or deceptive." Most interesting, however, was their claim that, to paraphrase, only a fool would believe those claims.

iPhone 3G Ad Banned From UK For Misleading Network Speeds

Yet another iPhone 3G ad has been banned in the UK for misleading advertising. Not long after the first ad was banned for claiming that the iPhone access to "all parts of the internet", we heard that Apple had changed the wording to their ad 'Vicinity' from saying the new iPhone was "twice as fast" to just being "really fast". Unfortunately it looks like that wasn't enough.

iPhone Ads: Shazam, Loopt

Apples latest series of advertisements have continued the theme of showcasing apps in the App Store. They recently began airing two new iPhone ads in the US. The first showcases Shazam for it's ability to pick up and identify songs through the iPhone's microphone. The second add introduces the social network Loopt and it's location-aware functionality that lets you share your location with friends via GPS, locate nearby people, share messages, and make calls. New iPhone Ad 'Dilemmas' Showcases Urbanspoon App

Apple has begun airing the latest in their series of iPhone TV advertisements. The new ad, titled "Dilemmas", focuses on using the iPhone for "solving life's dilemmas," by demonstrating various apps available in the App Store. Specifically, it shows Waterspot's Urbanspoon [App Store], which uses GPS to locate nearby restaurants. You can check it out at Apple's iPhone ad gallery.

New iPhone Ad 'Game Changer' Features MLB At Bat

Apple has begun airing of a new iPhone ad. Titled "Game Changer", the ad features the App Store yet again with the app MLB At Bat, touting how it turns your iPhone into a "score checker, live pitch updater, or a video highlight player".
